Penzión Corto - Hodnotenie a recenzie klientov

Hi, I spent 3 nights in Pension Corto, the hotel was very clean and new and in a very nice location.
The only remark was that the bathroom was just out of the room; it was private bathroom but outside the room.
In any case I would recommend it for the cleanliness and for the location.

I've marked 5 based on value for money. At 90 Euros for a twin room this is far from being a cheap hotel. We had a room that you could barely swing a cat in. One wardrobe and one chair and a TV on the wall and nothing else. The cable TV didn't work and although we reported it no-one came back to us.The'private'bathroom was across the hall which meant having to pass another guests door.Our two towels were literally in shreds. They did change them when I complained.
The shower head didn't have a proper holder and had to be held to shower. The plug in the basin did not fit but then again it was impossible to actually wash your face in the basin because of a badly placed shelf and towel rack.
Breakfast was mean and unimaginative.The bread and 'pastries' served without butter on 2 mornings was more like the day before's rolls. Fresh fruit was a banana even though the market right in front of the hotel was selling wonderful looking strawberries and other fruit.
I've stayed in better back packers hostels at a fraction of the cost.
The staff though were friendly. No complaints about them.
Good news is that there are plenty of other hotels at reasonable prices in Prague, so look around.

Very clean hotel with very helpful staff. Location is excellent, and the market is very good. Stayed on a Fri and Sat night during the 'restoration', but didn't see a workman all weekend.

This place is not Ritz, but doesn't pretend to be. If you're in Prague for a short stay, and want to see the city instead of staying in bed all day fornicating, I fully recommend this place.

I was staying in both of the pensions Corto and I liked the atmosphere a lot,preferably the cosy rooms in Castle area. Also the staff I found very helpful.
